“Princess Principal” Director to Land at Anime NYC

The inaugural Anime NYC is bringing anime favorites from all over the world to New York City next month. Most recently added to the roster is Masaki Tachibana, best known this anime season as the director of the new series Princess Principal.

Tachibana’s appearance is made possible through the cooperation of Anime NYC and Bandai Visual. Prior to Princess Principal, he was a key animator for shows like Flip Flappers and Girls und Panzer der Film, as well as an episode director for Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex.

Tachibana will be on hand for autograph signings, a Princess Principal Q&A, and an episode screening at the event.

He joins guests like anison performer Yoko Ishida, composer Naruyoshi Kikuchi, American voice actors Cristina Vee and Erica Mendez, and many more. The event will also be hosting the US premiere of Gundam Thunderbolt: Bandit Flower and a concert of Gundam music.
