“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” 30th Anniversary Exhibition Main Visual Posted for August 24 Opening

The official website for “Hirohiko Araki Jojo Exhibition: Ripples of The Adventure”, a special art exhibition dedicated to Hirohiko Araki’s 30-year-old fantasy action manga series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, is updated with a main visual and more detailed information about the event. The manga started its serialization in 1987 and has printed over 100 million copies in Japan.

As the last event of the manga’s 30th anniversary project, the exhibition will be held at The National Art

Center, Tokyo, the largest national museum in Japan, from August 24 to October 1, 2018. This the second

time for the prestigious national art facility to hold an art exhibition for a Japanese manga artist since the

one for Osamu “God of Manga” Tezuka 28 years ago.

In addition to Araki’s originak Jojo art collection, newly-produced collaboration works by modern Japanese

artists, such as Motohiko Odani (sculptor), Kunihiko Morinaga (designer), and WOW (visual design studio)

will be also displayed.
