Avex Pictures has published a non-credit version of the opening animation for How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, a TV anime based on the harem fantasy light novel series written by Yukiya Murasaki and illustrated by Takahiro Tsurusaki about a nerdy gamer who takes on the role of a dark overlord when summoned to a magical world.

The opening theme, entitled “DeCIDE” is performed in-character by Shera L Greenwood (CV: Yū Serizawa), Rem Galleu (CV: Azumi Waki), Alicia Crystella (CV: Yumi Hara), Sylvie (CV: Rumi Ōkubo), and Edelgard (CV: Emiri Katō) as the voice unit SUMMONERS 2+. “DeCIDE” will be released as a single in Japan on August 29, 2018.

The How Not to Summon a Demon Lord TV anime is directed by Yūta Murano and features animation production by Ajia-do Animation Works. The series is currently broadcasting in Japan and is also available via streaming on Crunchyroll, who describe How Not to Summon a Demon Lord as follows:

Sakamoto Takuma was so strong in the MMORPG Cross Reverie that his fellow players came to call him the “demon lord.” One day, he gets summoned to another world in his avatar form, and meets two girls who both insist that they’re the one who summoned him. They cast a spell used to enslave summoned beasts on him, but that activates his unique ability, Magic Reflect, and the girls end up being the ones put under the spell! And thus begins the otherworldly adventure of a demon lord (pretend) who blazes his own trail through overwhelming power.
