We Know Whose Shirt They Wear: "Gintama" Supports Tokyo Verdy!
Tokyo Verdy fans got a treat at yesterday’s soccer match against V-Varren Nagasaki, and not just because Tokyo Verdy won 2-1. The club collaborated with Gintama for a very special match, comlete with limited-edition merch for fans of both the team and the anime.
Fans had their choice of a variety of shirts, pins, and more combining the team and the popular anime. Three different Tokyo Verdy jerseys were available, each with a different character’s name:
A regular T-shirt featuring Elizabeth and Tokyo Verdy’s mascot Verdy-kun was also available:
Fans could also grab six different ticket holders:
Muffler towels and tote bags completed the offerings of the merch booth:
A mascot Elizabeth was also on hand, as well as life-sized standees of characters for selfie opportunities.
